The experience of being immersed in nature while trying to capture its elemental beauty is a restorative activity for her. It brings stillness and a sense of wellbeing.

Creating work that reflects something of her emotional relationship with the landscape is Sally’s goal. Motion plays an important role – with its capacity to transform the commonplace into the poetic. She is drawn to the lyrical and often use slow shutter speeds, camera movement and multiple exposures to create images that evoke nature’s enduring rhythm and flow.
